We recently received a question regarding the language of the Bnei Akiva bencher so I am going to take the opportunity to talk about that in a post. The bencher is Hebrew with an almost complete English translation. The seven blessings recited at a wedding have a broader explanation of sheva brachot as well as an explanation about what is said in th ...

Birkat Hamazon on Yom Kippur
Yes, the title sounds a bit weird, since everyone knows that Yom Kippur is a fast day. Why is this post about Birkat Hamazon on Yom Kippur? However, there are people who do not fast on Yom Kippur, whether they want to or not, because they are seriously ill. Children under the age of Bar or Bat Mitzvah do not fast either. That means that these non fastin ...

Bencher or birkon covers
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have started a new category on the store website for sample bencher covers. This is usually the hard part, as many people do NOT know what they want. Often they have an idea of what ...

One more card sample
Here's another sample thank you card. Again, these can be repurposed into invitations, bencher covers etc. I like the repeating circles in happy colors. If I added English to this too, I would either do something similar on a circle lower down in the design, or perhaps as a continuation of the Hebrew design.
Cards
On a totally different topic, I wanted to post some things which are not on the website at all. These are based on cards (thank you cards, post cards, simchat bat cards) done for commissions. These could be used for invitations or for bencher covers. At least something similar could be done for a bencher cover since these lie horizontally rather th ...
