Tonight is the last night of Hanukkah/Chanukkah. I took some photos in the neighbourhood of traditional Jerusalem lamps or lamp boxes and I am including them in this post.
I also wanted to show a few projects we made. I bought some materials for my daughter to make a Hanukkah lamp, and this is how it turned out:
This is not a particularly original project here, but I think it came out great especially since a 2.5 year old made it.
We also made felt food sufganiot (donuts) as a concerted effort. The “powdered sugar” was done by my 2.5 year old, and her older cousins sewed the base. I cut the shapes and finished them off and finished the tops. These were intended as a gift for other cousins.
