What to do with extra Benchers

I have been thinking about this for a while. I hate waste and I know that lots of people are not interested in saving things like I do. For instance, I actually save invitations that I get for weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah etc. I probably get that from my grandfather who used to save birth announcements and give them to the person in question at their wedding.

Which brings me to benchers. Sometimes people have many extras after the event is over and they do not know what to do with them. I have a suggestion though. Please bring them to your local Bnei Akiva office or local Moshava. This is a very simple way to help your local Bnei Akiva fundraise. It means more people see the bencher in action and more people are exposed to the project.

It also means there are more benchers available to be used at various events where Bnei Akiva may advertise their current projects.

What about if Bnei Akiva tells you “Please no more, we have too many right now!” In that case, please be in touch with us. We would be happy to take them off your hands. We can use them for all types of things such as giving them to glilim that don’t have too many, people who ask us for samples and the like.
