Individual Birkonim question

January 29th, 2009 — 6:06am

We have received a few questions regarding the possibility of ordering a single Birkon or a number up to ten. We are trying to figure out the best way to accommodate these requests since our printer does not really have time to answer requests for such small quantities and we keep a very small number of birkonim on hand.

I think that the way we will try to handle this, for now, is to provide a sample birkon for $10. The $10 will be credited to a customized birkon order. For now samples can be ordered offline, but i hope to put this online in the near future.

What about those 5-10 order requests? How about asking your local Bnei Akiva to be in touch with us for a supply of Birkonim that they can sell to you.

Color covers

January 22nd, 2009 — 1:56am

Bat Mitzvah cover

Some of you have been wondering what the advantage is of the color cover option for Birkonim. The color cover option really gives you the greatest freedom of design. Besides the fact that you can have full color covers, you can also make use of the full cover space, from fold to edges.

Here are two examples of ways you could use color covers, the first a bat mitzvah invitation I designed and the second a wedding invitation used with permission from the happy couple, who printed their covers in October.

Stern WeddingYou could create a tile effect of family faces for a family reunion or anniversary, place a landscape photograph or original artwork as well.

We do not currently offer an option to print on the back of the covers or on the inside on the website, but contact us if you are  interested in these options, and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.

Welcome

January 21st, 2009 — 6:12am

This is the Birkat Chaverim Blog where we will talk about things related to the site or answer questions people ask us. This site was originally set up to help sell the Bnei Akiva birkonim. To offset the cost of maintaining the website, we also decided to feature my own artwork on the website, include sponsors, and down the line to possibly offer other works and options for customers.
